1. Order Processing Time
- Order
Confirmation: After you place and pay for an order, we send an
email confirmation.
- Handling: Typically
1 business day (sometimes 2 in peak periods). If an item is unexpectedly
out of stock, we will inform you promptly.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
- Nationwide
Delivery (South Africa): We partner with reliable couriers (e.g.,
Fastway, The Courier Guy, Aramex).
- Estimated
Delivery:
- Main
centers: 1–4 business days from dispatch.
- Outlying/remote
areas: 3–5 business days (or longer if very remote).
- No
Weekend/Public Holiday Delivery: Couriers operate weekdays only.
- Delays: We
will inform you of any courier delays. Under ECTA, we must fulfill orders
within 30 days. You can cancel for a refund if it goes beyond that (rare).
3. Shipping Charges
- Flat
Rate / Free Shipping Promotions: We may offer free shipping over
a certain order value or charge a flat rate. Check our site for current
offers.
- Weight
or Zone-Based Rates: Heavy items (e.g., large dog food bags) may
incur higher shipping fees, shown at checkout.
- No
Public Pickup Point: Because we are online-only, we usually do
not offer in-person collection unless pre-arranged in Durban.
4. Delivery Address & Attempts
- Accurate
Address: Provide a complete address (street name, number, suburb,
postal code). No P.O. boxes.
- Contactable
Phone: Couriers may call for delivery confirmation.
- Multiple
Attempts: If no one is present, couriers often attempt again or
contact you. If repeatedly unsuccessful, your parcel may return to us and
additional fees may apply.
5. Tracking Your Order
- We
email your tracking number once dispatched. You can track on the courier’s
site.
- If
there’s a significant delay or lost parcel, contact us and we’ll follow
up.
6. Shipping Issues and Lost Parcels
- We
cover loss or damage in transit until it reaches you or your authorized
recipient.
- If
the parcel is marked “delivered” but you did not receive it, inform us
immediately. We will investigate with the courier.
- If
you notice damage upon delivery, note it with the courier or refuse
delivery and contact us ASAP.
7. International Shipping
- We
do not ship outside South Africa at this time.
8. Additional Notes
- Split
Shipments: Large or multiple items may be shipped separately,
each with its own tracking.
- Backorders: If
an item is backordered, we will communicate expected dispatch times.
- High-Value
Orders: May require extra verification or insurance. We’ll keep
you informed if so.
